- GST audit and reconciliation – review of returns and the reconciliation statement.
- Internal audit – review of processes and controls, with recommendations.
- Stock and other bank-related audits as required by lenders.

Our approach
We agree the scope, the timetable and the information required at the start. The audit is planned on the basis of risk and is done largely online, with visits where required. We discuss significant findings with management before finalising the report and give you practical recommendations on controls and compliance.
Frequently asked questions
Is an audit mandatory for my business?
It depends on the entity and on turnover. Companies and certain other entities need a statutory audit every year, and a proprietor or firm needs a tax audit if the turnover exceeds the prescribed limits. We confirm the position for you.
Can the same firm do bookkeeping and audit?
Independence rules restrict some combinations of services for certain entities. Where we are appointed as auditor, we follow the applicable rules on the services we can provide.
When should I appoint an auditor?
As early as possible in the year, so that the audit is planned and the year-end is not rushed. A newly incorporated company must appoint its first auditor soon after incorporation.
